This Privacy Policy explains how Kivora collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use the Kivora mobile application and related services.

1. Information We Collect

Kivora may collect the following categories of information:

• Profile information, such as your display name, avatar, and biography.
• Content and activity, such as posts, comments, follows, likes, messages, reports, and mute actions.
• Media you upload, capture, or save, including photos and videos used for posts, profile updates, chat images, and AI tools.
• AI feature inputs, including selected reference images, prompts, and styling options used in Style Finder and Style Generator.
• Purchase and transaction information related to Style Credits and other in-app purchase events.
• Device, diagnostics, and usage information, including app performance information and optional attribution data where permitted.

2. How We Use Information

We use information to operate, maintain, and improve Kivora, including to:

• Provide feed browsing, posting, profile management, messaging, moderation, and AI styling features.
• Process images and prompts for hairstyle analysis and hairstyle preview generation.
• Maintain account state, support requests, and feature preferences.
• Process and confirm in-app purchase activity and credit balances.
• Protect users, investigate abuse, and enforce community and platform rules.
• Measure product performance, attribution, and onboarding effectiveness where legally permitted.

3. Permissions and Device Access

Kivora may request access to your camera, photo library, or microphone only when a feature requires it. For example, camera and photo library access may be used to create posts, update a profile image, or provide a reference image for AI styling tools. Microphone access may be used when you record a video post. You can manage these permissions through your device settings.

4. AI Styling Features

If you use Style Finder or Style Generator, Kivora processes the reference image you choose, your prompt text, and selected styling options in order to return hairstyle analysis or generated preview results.

Reference images used for these features may contain personal appearance information, including visible facial features and hairstyle details. Kivora uses this information only to provide the requested AI styling feature. Kivora does not use these images for face recognition, identity verification, or biometric identification.

5. Sharing of Information

We may share information in the following situations:

• With other users, where content is intended to be visible within the app, such as public posts, profile details, and interactions.
• With service providers that help operate Kivora, including providers for AI processing, app infrastructure, analytics, and payment-related operations.
• With Apple in connection with in-app purchases and related transaction handling.
• Where required by law, regulation, legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, and integrity of users or the service.

6. Third-Party Services

Kivora uses third-party services to support certain features. These may include Apple In-App Purchase for payment processing and Alibaba Cloud DashScope for AI image analysis and image generation. If you allow tracking, attribution and campaign performance information may also be processed through analytics partners.

7. Storage and Retention

Kivora retains information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain account and transaction records, support safety and moderation functions, comply with legal requirements, and resolve disputes. Some information, including generation history, cached messages, moderation records, and selected media, may also be stored locally on your device depending on the feature you use.

8. Your Choices and Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a copy of your personal information. You may also be able to control permissions, tracking consent, and certain in-app content or account settings directly from your device or the app.

9. Children's Privacy

Kivora is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe that a child has provided information to Kivora, please contact us so we can address the request.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in law, product features, or operational practices. Updated versions will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
